The new member will assist their real estate clients offering them specialized virtual assistance. Rita began her business in 2002 offering virtual assistance, specifically word processing services, to individuals, small companies, as well as corporations. Her goal is to expand her company by adding team members whose services will complement her current offerings rather than compete with them. Approximately six months ago, Rita hired a virtual assistant who provides transcription services. Diana Ennen of Virtual World Publishing states in a recent Reader’s Digest article, “There is so much work for VAs that the field is thriving. It is absolutely booming.”
The Virtual Assistants (VAs) industry started approximately 10 years ago. The industry is gaining national recognition with articles both in the Wall Street Journal and Reader’s Digest. Technology and the Internet have allowed entrepreneurs, small business owners, and work-at-home moms to establish home-based businesses offering various products and services, including virtual assistance.
