Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease)
October 29, 2007 - VR Business Brokers - VR Mergers & Acquisitions ( www.vrnatlanta.com ) has completed the sale of BCF, an Atlanta-based custom frame company that operates in the Buckhead area. Mr. Tom Min, the founder of BCF, engaged VR Business Brokers in Atlanta to market and sell the company. Sue Willcox and family purchased the company. The current management team will provide extensive training and consulting to ensure a smooth transition. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
“We couldn't be happier being chosen to handle this deal,” says VR's President and CEO Malek Jandali. “Our VR team thrive to ensure both confidence and comfort level on both sides of the transaction and this is why VR has sold more businesses in North America than anyone!.”
Our Atlanta VR office focuses on practical, innovative solutions that provide value for the client. Whether doing mergers and acquisitions, advising on private equity transactions, accessing the value of a business for financing or seeking business advice on strategic issues, VR's business transaction clients have access to the skills and experience they need to achieve their objectives.
VR Business Brokers, which has sold more businesses in North America than anyone, assisted in the sale by establishing a fair and accurate asking price, marketing the business and representing the seller in negotiations. The firm links business owners throughout the metro Atlanta area and across Georgia and the Southeast to qualified buyers.
Tom established BCF in 1998 to help him keep busy in retirement. When they relocated to the current Buckhead location, the company grew dramatically, demanding more time and energy. When Lane decided to try retirement again, he contacted VR Business Brokers in Atlanta.
"I had heard great things about them and they lived up to their reputation of being flexible and easy to work with," said Tom. "They set the price and marketed it, and I got out of the way."
"This sale allows Tom Min to really retire and presents enormous opportunities for the new owners. It is a great win-win for the seller and the new owners." said Malek Jandali, owner of VR Business Brokers in Atlanta.
"I was attracted to the growth potential of the company and appreciated the integrity with which VR Business Brokers handled the transaction," said Sue Willcox, the new owner of the business. "We expect continuous growth to expand into other markets in metro Atlanta."
