Ateliers D’Art De France Showcases French Design At Pulse 2008

Ateliers d’Art de France (AAF), the federation of French crafts professionals, will present 19 French companies at the Pulse trade fair, which will be held in London from 1 to 3 June 2008. The exhibiting companies all have the CreatedinFrance® label, which denotes a designer of high-quality and creative products.


(1888PressRelease) May 07, 2008 - Ateliers d’Art de France (AAF), the federation of French crafts professionals, will present 19 French companies at the Pulse trade fair, which will be held in London from 1 to 3 June 2008. The exhibiting companies all have the CreatedinFrance® label, which denotes a designer of high-quality and creative products.

Several of the French designers exhibiting at Pulse specialise in cosmetics. Place des Lices (Stand N53) develops high-quality toiletry and bath products, as well as a range of home accessories (www.placedeslices.com). For its part, Le Père Pelletier (Stand P57) uses French plants and flowers to create a range of luxury toiletries (www.lacompagniedukinkiliba.com).

In the fashion and jewellery fields, Ribambelle (Stand R58) manufactures coloured jewellery for children in a simple, original style (www.ribambelle.com). As for Emmanuelle Dupont (Stand W35), its designers use wire, optical fibre, foams and wood in order to create jewellery, decorative objects and furniture (www.emmanuelle-dupont.com). Vivia (Stand V42) uses clay and glass to create stylish jewellery (www.vivia-bijoux.com), while Mai Baeg (Stand W51) offers a large range of leather bags with African designs, as well as shoulder bags and handbags for men and women (www.maibaeg.com).

Other fashion and jewellery designers at Pulse include Lisou les Bains (Stand Z54), a fashion designer specialising in backless tops and beach/holiday wear (www.lisoulesbains.com). Laurige (Stand D49) specialises in hand-crafted leather goods ranging from briefcases and handbags to small accessories (www.laurige.com). For its part, Raphaela Gemini (Stand Y59) uses silk, linen, wool and semi-precious stones to create a range of fashion accessories (www.raphaelagemini.fr).

There will also be French companies specialising in gifts and home ware at Pulse. Trousselier (Stand E42) creates lamps, music boxes and stuffed toys for children (www.trousselier.fr), while Charlot et Compagnie (Stand D72) designs original and unique paper lamps (www.charlotetcompagnie.com). Wallaby Boomerangs Europe (Stand N83) is the only manufacturer in the world to design eco-friendly bamboo boomerangs (www.wallabyboomerangs.com). Le Jardin de l’Ange (Stand G61) creates original, aesthetic and lively objects for every day life (www.lejardindelange.fr), and Limoges Diffusion (Stand H66) manufactures hand-painted Limoges porcelain boxes using traditional methods and tools (www.limoges-diffusion.com).

Other French companies in the home-ware sector include Anne-Pierre Malval (Stand R3), which creates light fixtures, mirrors, vases and candle holders (www.anne-pierremalval.com). En Fil d’Indienne (Stand K8) creates quilts and cushions, multi-coloured thread curtains, linen voiles and bags, while Poterie Saint Michel (Stand J10) works in fine white stoneware and porcelain (http://poteriestmichel.free.fr/).
