  • (1888PressRelease) February 19, 2015 - R&B Recording Artist, Tocarra Hamilton is embarking upon a journey in life that is filled with both a wonderful career and a willingness to serve youth. Tocarra is known for being the queen collaborator, having helped to make hits of songs like, Usher's album, "Raymond vs. Raymond", on the song entitled "Daddy's Home" (Hey, Hey, Hey Daddy!), which topped the Billboard Charts at number 3 and a single entitled "Dance With Me", with International Latin Rapper, Pitbull. As well as her other works on national tours, film projects with youth organizations, speaking engagements and her accolades as a performer.

Last year, Tocarra was asked to lend her voice to a song dedicated to uplifting youth in their time of need. Across America, young people are under attack by other youth and adults by being bullied. They are being bullied for being different, smart, because of how they look, because of their nationalities or because of their religions. Childhood is a time that should be some of the greatest memories in their lives, they are suffering. When Tocarra set out to do this project, she really knew nothing about bullying but immediately educated herself on the subject and was horrified by what she learned. Tocarra wants to do something about it!

Bullying is the most common form of violence in schools, both verbal and physical. Children experience one incident of bullying every seven minutes; - It's estimated that 160,000 children miss school every day because they're afraid of being attacked or intimidated by other students - 2 out of 3 teens are verbally or physically harassed every year. - 58% of teens have had hurtful things said to them online and over 40% say it's happened more than once. Every child should be free to go to school, surf the internet and live in a community that treats everyone with respect. Take a stand with Tocarra and take the pledge to act against bullying whenever and wherever we see it. As the year begins, let up become more aware of what's taking place in our kids schools, who they are communicating with on the internet and who they interact with in their neighborhoods. We urge you to make a conscious effort and if you, or someone you know is being bullied and you don't know who to turn to, tell your local school counselor, tell your parents, or contact one of the organizations below for help.

Tocarra lends her talents and her time to support all antibully initiatives with local schools and national organizations to help lend her voice, her time and her experiences being bullied to create a greater awareness and to talk to students who are being bullied or are bullies themselves. We want to be a part of the solution. To help with this national campaign, a song and video was created and is used by many schools as a tool to help their fight against bullying. Tocarra took it a step further and felt inspired to collab on a song entitled, "Bully Me No More", with Tocarra Hamilton feat. Lil P-Nut with the track produced by award winning producer, Myikal Snoody. The video can be viewed on Tocarra's website and her YouTube Page. If you would like to schedule a speaking engagement or a special event at your school, you can contact us for more information and availability.

We believe that Tocarra is able to reach the students because they view her as a young person who is not only famous, but are young enough to understand what they are going through and they listen and confide in her. Sometimes it's hard to talk to a teacher or to your parents to get the message across that something is wrong and it's easier to speak with someone you feel can help. In today's society, we must take a new approach in the way we reach kids. Talking and lecturing them is not the way. They must be able to relate to those that truly believe in them before they will reach out and make the connection for help. We hope that you will share this song and message to others who may be interested in having Tocarra to speak and share this song of hope!

We hope you will join us in the fight for the right for children every where to grow up healthy, happy and safe.
