  • Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease) April 14, 2015 - Arrow Records will be hosting their third Fine Arts Academy workshop on Saturday, April 18 at World Changers Church - College Park (2500 Burdett Rd. College Park, GA). For one day, guests of all ages will have the opportunity to engage in intimate workshops and training sessions, immersing them in the culture of art and entertainment and how to succeed in the business. This year's workshops are The Art of Dance and The Art of Acting.

The "Art of Dance" will be instructed by celebrity choreographer, dancer and producer CiCi Kelley (as seen on the MTV hit show, "Made.") Participants will learn how to use choreography as a means to convey a story, gain insight into the mastery of dance and learn what to listen for when making a rhythmic musical masterpiece.

The "Art of Acting" will be presented by critically-acclaimed actor, producer and director, Dwayne Boyd (The Hunger Games, Meet The Browns). Participants will learn the fundamentals of improvisation and scripted scenes, learn how to communicate honestly and how to make choices that build strong characters and solid scenes.

"After an outstanding turnout at last year's Fine Arts Academy, we are thrilled to be bringing the workshop back for a second year," said Taffi Dollar, CEO of Arrow Records. "Having Ms. Kelley and Mr. Boyd serve as instructors at this year's workshop, we anticipate an exceptional turnout and who knows, the next star could be right in front of our eyes."

Last year's workshop, the Fine Arts Academy introduced participants to the "Music Production, Songwriting and Praise & Worship." The seminar, which was instructed by Grammy Award-winning producer Lil' Ronnie (Trey Songz, Mary J. Blidge, Britney Spears, Usher, etc.), taught guests how to effectively create a chart-topping song and melody and how to master the craft of music production in order to produce a musical masterpiece.
