ARIELLA INC. was established by Internationally renowned hair stylist John Dellaria and beauty industry innovator Joe Tucci.
The John Dellaria Line by Ariella was launched in 1982 and included the infamous Play Gel and Spray Gel. Another innovation, D-Chrome environmentally and stylist safe bleach continued their reign as product innovators. They also introduced the first professional hair care products packed in aluminum cans...Style Dressing and Dressy Mist. Shuga was created because John and Joe realized that animal proteins that were key to high performance salon products had been replaced with lesser performing synthetic proteins. Their search for strengthening and conditioning proteins that were "politically correct" and performed without negative side effects led them to Shuga Complex™. Yogurt proteins and natural plant and milk sugars in Shuga Complex™ are delivered deeply into hair where needed using nanotechnology. The Shuga haircare line contains the industry's only environmentally safe 55 VOC aerosol leave-in conditioner.
