Argent Solar President Expresses Possibilities of Further Growth in Candid Conversation
Argent Solar is Arizona's leading renewable energy systems integrator. The company has its headquarters in Goodyear, Arizona, where it currently provides statewide photovoltaic solar integration services.
- (1888PressRelease) August 22, 2010 - In 2007, Diego Creus left California and headed to Arizona with one thing on his mind: solar power. Where better to open up shop than in the valley of the sun? After working in the power industry for more than 10 years, Creus was determined to found his own solar company and run it his way - by providing high end, customized solar solutions to his valued customers. Thus, Argent Solar was created.
Headquartered in Goodyear and with a staff of 20, Argent Solar engineers, designs and installs renewable energy systems for both residential and commercial projects.
Their lists of services include: site surveys and assessments, system design and engineering, building permits and planning approvals, rebate and incentive applications, utility interconnection agreements, solar equipment supply, installation, commissioning and startup, training, support, maintenance, remote monitoring, financial and performance analysis and warranty management.
"All of our jobs are custom built," said President Diego Creus. "We make sure that each and every job exceeds the customer's expectations."
Formerly a software engineer for IBM, Creus made the dramatic career shift to power about a decade ago.
"I don't know," he joked. "I must be crazy. I left a high-paying job for one that pays less, but I am happy."
Creus has also been rather successful in his endeavor due to his dedication and unwillingness to settle for anything less than perfection. Business has also picked up with state and federal incentives for both residential and commercial work.
Argent Solar recently completed a solar power engineering and design project for the Glendale School of Culinary Arts, a job that Creus said was both interesting and fun.
"We just completed the engineering and design," he said. The building is being worked on as we speak. Hopefully, we'll get into the solar very soon."
Above all, Creus said that he enjoys what he does and this enjoyment is seen in the character of Argent Solar, and in the quality of their work.
