September 25, 2007 - The First Annual Star of San Pedro Gong Show will take place Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Warner Grand Theatre. It is produced by two Artistic Directors: Cynthia Bradley of San Pedro City Ballet, and Ray Buffer of The Relevant Stage.
Auditions will soon be announced, and will likely take place in January.
Performing acts from the community are invited to attend. Judging the event will be a combination of local celebrities and a few surprise participants.
Area businesses are invited to participate by offering goods and services that can be used as prizes for the contestants and winners. Proceeds will benefit youth outreach efforts by both San Pedro City Ballet and The Relevant Stage.
