September 12, 2009 - ApogeeInvent announced today that Casey Yarbrough has been hired to fill the new position of Senior Vice President of Communications. He will be responsible for all internal and external communications for the company, including media and public relations, public affairs, and web initiatives. His position is effective immediately.
Yarbrough, who had relocated from Houston, Texas, is highly qualified for the position. He has over ten years of experience in communication management, is highly skilled in sales assessments, and has been involved in the Internet technology and communications industry on a corporate level for many years. These skills will allow Yarbrough to facilitate ApogeeInvent's rapidly developing external relationships with their subsidiaries, affiliates, and clients. ApogeeInvent also hopes to expand their client and partner base in the coming months to reach other regions of the United States.
ApogeeInvent currently serves companies nationwide, but focuses their attention on the western states due to their geographical office locations. Yarborough will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies to increase the number of clients nationwide. He will also assist in the continual management of existing relationships. The need for this position is great, as the company announces record sales for the summer months and anticipates continual growth through the fall and holiday seasons.
This new addition to the team was timed to coincide with the opening of ApogeeInvent's new business development office in Portland, Oregon. Yarbrough will be working closely with Jared Brague, the Senior Vice President of Business Development, to direct sales and revenue through improved client relationships for the company.
"ApogeeInvent is growing quickly, and we need a full executive team to capitalize on this momentum. The skills and experience Casey brings to the team will be invaluable to our company as we expand to reach greater audiences and communicate with new markets," observes Paredes.
