December 04, 2007 - Robert Middleton has been promoted to the new position of CEO Aon Consulting Europe/Middle East/Africa (EMEA) and UK. The creation of the EMEA & UK area is part of Aon Consulting’s strategy to streamline its global operations to maximise growth opportunities.
Mr Middleton reports to Andrew Appel, CEO Aon Consulting Worldwide, and is responsible for all Consulting business in the region. He also joins the Executive Global Operating Committee.
Mr Middleton said: “Bringing together the whole region under common leadership provides us with an opportunity to leverage our network capabilities, increase our impact in the global client segment and increase opportunities for our staff across an integrated regional unit.”
