June 10, 2009 - An elegant Luncheon and Fashion Show titled “Everything’s Coming Up Roses” was held June 3rd in Lortscher Hall at the Towers at Laguna Woods Village featuring the latest summer fashions from Drapers and Damons, the fine apparel store for women in Laguna Hills, CA.
Impressionist roses cascaded down a lighted back drop as residents of the Towers modeled casual wear, cruise wear, and dressy apparel. If smiles were a measure of success, this fashion show was five stars!
Prior to the luncheon and fashion show a reception was held in Lounge I with champagne and wine splits. With a luncheon menu that featured a Greek pasta salad, sparkling cider and a delightful custard tart topped with fresh fruit, there were twenty-two tables of guests who attended this event.
Each table featured pink rose topiary centerpieces that were given to the lucky recipients at the end of the event. Gorgeous door prizes awarded throughout the luncheon contributed to a festive occasion. The luncheon culminated with a special gift card from Drapers and Damons for one lucky winner!
