May 10, 2008 - The 'Lynn's Bowel Cancer Campaign' Charity Open Day at Beauty and The Beach was a great success. Ex-Watchdog presenter, Lynn Faulds Wood spent a couple of hours with Fran and the staff and was impressed with the £800 raised towards Britain’s second biggest Cancer killer. She said, "I think it's fantastic that Beauty and the Beach have chosen to support my Bowel Cancer Campaign because now a lot of people in the area know about it and are talking about bowel cancer - all because of beauty and the Beach, so well done."
The Grand Raffle was drawn at the end of the day with 12 wonderful prizes kindly donated by local businesses. Beauty and the Beach would like to say a huge Thank You to everyone concerned for making this day such a success!
