August 25, 2009 - Announcing the 2009 Biblical Archaeology Society Publication Award winners. The awards recognize the best books published in 2007 and 2008 relating to archaeology and the Bible. Submissions are evaluated by a panel of peers. Winning authors from four different categories each receive an award of $1,000.00 and an honorary certificate. These prestigious awards are made possible by a grant from the Leopold and Clara M. Fellner Charitable Foundation, through its trustee Frederick L. Simmons.
