January 25, 2008 - The multi-colored design beat out such entries as “No Need to Go Farther than Green Harbor”, “More Than Just Another Pretty Beach” and “Marshfielders” to take top honors. For her submission, Ms. Webster will receive a t-shirt with her winning logo, copies of which will be sold at Pre-Game Sports in sizes S through XL.
“Based on the popularity of our ‘Welcome to Marsh Vegas’ shirts, we initially thought this contest would result in another catchy slogan. Ms. Webster’s design really captured the spirit of our town and that’s why we selected it as the winner,” said Lisa Seyffert, co-owner of Pre-Game Sports.
In addition to Marshfield-centric shirts, Pre-Game offers screen-printing and embroidery services for local sports teams and companies. Pre-Game has a “no order is too large or small” policy, which is evident in the range of customers who take advantage of this service—from Clean Harbors Environmental Services to local swimming clubs to family reunions.
