Karan A Chanana, the CEO and Chairman of The Amira Group, recently hosted an evening of entertainment and splendour for his Indian Summer party at a grand residential venue in Eaton Place.

The evening was a resounding success, with guests enjoying delicacies prepared by the team at Moti Mahal, a boutique Indian restaurant based in Covent Garden. With art by Ravindra Salve adorning the walls and a mix of Bollywood music playing through the night, the partygoers were able to experience the true taste of an Indian summer in the heart of London.
The event was hosted by Karan A Chanana and his wife Radhika, with many notable names in attendance including the owners of Vitabiotics Tara and Taj Lalvani, Prince Rostislav Romanov of Russia and the entrepreneur and philanthropist Asif Rangoonwala.
As the Chairman and CEO of The Amira Group, Chanana has taken the company from a family-run operation into a professionally managed global business listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Chanana's family founded the business almost a century ago and for the past eight years he has stood at Amira's helm as Chairman and CEO, leading the company from strength to strength.
Guests were gifted with luxury packs of Amira basmati rice, the newest speciality rice brand on supermarket shelves, which is set to reinvigorate the speciality rice sector. Whilst the industry standard for basmati rice is nine months, Amira's flagship products are matured for a minimum of eighteen months, giving them a distinctive scent and delicious flavour. Through this process, Amira provides delicious aromatic rice of the highest quality, bringing a gourmet touch to every meal.
