Amphibious Beach Billboards Reach Africa Shores

Outdoor advertising companies, bbi Displays and Luzo Media, join forces to introduce floating billboards in Nigeria.

(1888PressRelease) September 29, 2009 - Amphibious billboard supplier, bbi Display Systems, announced it has chosen Luzo Media to represent its patented advertising products in Nigeria. Luzo Media, a leader in the Nigerian outdoor advertising market, will begin offering advertising availability on both land and water throughout Nigeria in the coming weeks.

The innovative billboards have received an overwhelming interest from Nigerian advertisers. Luzo Media has already secured campaign commitments from Guinness and Coca Cola in the first week of operation. The amphibious boards will be appearing on both water and beaches for the respective advertisers.

“Our amphibious billboards generate a great deal of spectator curiosity” say Eric Wickland, Marketing Director of bbi Displays. “There is an added value in being an early adopter of the boards as the exposure rate is exceptionally high. Audiences are captivated by the ads when they are seen for the first time.”

The inflatable signs provide operators and advertisers with a versatile promotional tool that can reach audiences in any location. The portable billboards can be placed on any surface and commonly display advertiser messages on bodies of water, beaches, rooftops, golf courses, gas stations, events or adjacent to highways.

Currently bbi Display Systems are represented in over 50 countries. International associates and operators are currently being sought in undeveloped regions to introduce the innovative medium.
