May 03, 2008 - Amherstburg, Ontario Michigan Great Community Events is proud to announce that the Ice Cream Festival is returning to the Essex region and is opening its doors to Buskers that are interested in participating in the event to be held on June 28-29, 2008 at Toddy Jones Park in historic Amherstburg.
Last years Ice Cream Festival was held in Lakeshore and had over 5,000 visitors in attendance. The team at Ontario Michigan Great Community Events is pleased to have Clinton Hammond returning to the festival for performances and assisting in the coordination of Buskers.

OMG Events strives to bring a wide range of successful unique events and festivals to the Ontario/Michigan area. The purpose of these events is to promote commerce and tourism within and to this very diverse region and also raise funds for worthy charitable organizations based within the region itself.
Ontario Michigan Great Community Events launched its services in 2006 with the creation and launch of the Lakeshore Ice Cream Festival. The team conservatively planned for its inaugural year to have approximately 2,000 visitors over the course of the 2007 Canada Day Weekend. 2,000 visitors attended in its first day and conservative numbers show just over 5,000 visitors attended over all.
