August 02, 2007 - Every day people eat more and more processed foods. About half the population is suffering from obesity and diabetes. To much carbohydrate, starch and partially hydrogenated oils in the American diet can wreak havoc on a person’s physical and mental wellbeing. It’s a shame that all these companies are concerned with is high profit rather than being concerned with the well being of their fellow citizens. Supper markets store most of they’re food for months so it’s highly processed. And most foods have partially hydrogenated oil, sugar and a host of unnatural ingredients which can cause cancer, diabetes, obesity, depression, and much more. That is why we need to eliminate those products from our shelves and join together to put an end to this corporate greed that is poisoning our country. Fresh fruit and vegetables, nuts and berries really should be the fair and not so much red meat, potatoes and bread. When you consume the wrong oils which has been altered in order to preserve shelve life then you risk putting the body in danger of disease.
Not many people pay enough attention to what they consume on a daily basis. Essential fatty acids cannot be more strongly recommended if you want to foster youthfulness and mental well being, All the cells in your body have to have the right oils , omega three is the most important one, then there is omega six and nine. People consume way to much omega six in there diet and not enough omega three Also the oil must remain stable and that means refrigeration, so the oil doesn’t get rancid. I also recommended that it’s stored in a dark container. When one thinks of sugar, they think of white table sugar which is in just about every thing. People just don’t realize how much sugar they consume. Any starch you eat turns very quickly into pure sugar. Potatoes, rice, flour of all kinds is just like eating sugar. For good health you need lots of green leafy vegetables, broccoli, brussel sprouts, spinach, carrots and cabbage.
The food and drug administration with there food pyramid is sending people from the table to the doctor. Yes the drug companies are doing very well. And people just aren’t healthy eating that way. People think it’s alright to eat lots of bread products. Bagels, muffins, pancakes, cake, cookies, rice, pasta. Mixing sugar and fats together just causes diabetes, weight gain, cancers, gout and decease. Yes the F.D.A. has every one fooled and the proof is in the pudding. We must stop the madness don’t buy into corporate scams. They’re making billions off our ill health, and the health of our children depends on what we as parents do. So all I’m saying is don’t let commercialism convince you that you need to buy their products. There are plenty of alternatives out there, all you need do is search them out. For a healthy body and mind eat sensibly get enough rest and exercise, and the truth is all we need to combat the madness.
