Dr. Onamusi is certified in both Internal Medicine and Occupational & Environmental Medicine. During his Occupational & Environmental Medicine residency training at the Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia, he obtained a Masters degree in Public Health. Dr. Onamusi also underwent postgraduate training in pediatrics in the United Kingdom from 1992 to 1995.
After completing his residency training, he worked as the Medical Director for St. Rita’s Occupational Health in Lima Ohio, where he served as a medical consultant to a number of companies and industries. He is a member of the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation Disability Evaluators Panel and a medical consultant to the Ohio State Bureau of Disability Determination. Dr. Onamusi is also active as a Civil Surgeon performing immigration examinations for the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services.
