December 24, 2008 - Allied Wire and Cable is thrilled to announce that its 2008 Charity Week raised enough money to grant two wishes through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Charity Week is held each year during the week before Christmas. A portion of all sales made during that time is donated to a selected charity, and this year’s recipient was Make-A-Wish.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation is a well-known national organization that raises money to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses. These wishes can be anything from a trip to Disney to a face-to-face meeting with a favorite celebrity. The granting of a wish is often a life-changing experience for both the child and his or her family. Allied Wire has supported Make-A-Wish for almost a decade and will continue to do as often as possible.
