May 13, 2008 - Croatia - Allianz insurance has presented its new web site at www.AllianzDirect.hr. At this site, new and existing clients will be able to extend or purchase their insurance policies over the Internet. Allianz Direct service enables arranging road vehicles insurance and travel insurance as well as the possibility of online notification claim.
At the same time, Allianz is only insurance company in Croatia that offers three types of online road vehicles insurance: compulsory road vehicles liability insurance, comprehensive road vehicles insurance, and the package which includes both of the two types of insurance. The choice of products is tailored to the needs of clients. The client enters the required information in the online form and the selected insurance policy is delivered to the client by mail. For any of these three types of insurance the online shopper can choose between four product packages, which greatly facilitate the choice.
The Internet site uses the most advanced technologies and programs as well as the security systems for user data protection and it enables clients to economize while purchasing or extending their insurance policies.
The Allianz Group expects that the online insurance sales in Europe will grow at a rate of 25 percent by the end of 2009. This shows that the Internet is becoming an increasingly important business generator in the Insurance segment and that the European users have recognized the benefits of online insurance shopping.
