July 07, 2007 - Donald “XL” Robertson completely outraged by the online site all music guide.com’s mishandling of information; says “I’m not getting production jobs and my business is suffering as a result of the neglect by the popular site to keep their records updated”.
In a recent search of the site, Robertson responsible for the production on multi-platinum artist Mos Def, Juvenile, Master P, C-Murder, Snoop Dogg, Trick Daddy, Nas, and Silk The Shocker, found he was simply non-existent in their database, adding further fuel to the fire all music guide.com has several XL’s listed none of which are the platinum producer.
“How could this have happened!” stated by Margaret McDonald, Robertson’s manager and business partner of XL Productionz, “We’ve had huge commercial success and yet our efforts go un reported and un noticed while the not so successful artist with the same name get acknowledge, we just want what’s right. Major magazines, executives, Artist and A&R’s use the popular site to find out who’s who in this competitive industry, our success is based on industry insiders knowing the correct information about every artist including artist/producer XL”.
After receiving a lengthy email from XL in which he provided proof of his accomplishments all music guide.com stated they would correct this oversight. As of now no changes have been made but XL is hopeful that he’ll get love from all music guide. com and that the changes take place in the next few weeks to come, ironically XL has a new single due out this month titled “I Get Love” available at Wal-Mart.com he hopes the corrections are made before his single drops.
