May 17, 2008 - Anthony Kelly, Managing Director of All Ireland Credit Services Limited (AICS), recently returned from Tallinn, Estonia, where he represented all of Ireland at the Global Credit Solutions (www.gcs-group.com) European regional meeting.
Attended by more than 20 European partner country representatives of the GCS global network, the group discussed and established submissions for a wide range of ongoing issues to be finalized at the global conference to be held in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania in October 2008. These included legislation across Europe, the unique Global Case Management System and the benefits this provides to GCS partners and the group’s clients.
AICS is the only Irish debt collection agency headquartered in County Limerick, and the only Irish agency with offices in Ireland’s four largest cities, and are extremely proud of their ongoing status as the sole Irish partner agent for all of Ireland.
AICS actively contributes to the GCS group worldwide policy formation, on a range of matters and has recently made extensive and detailed submissions on the dangers of currency exposure within the debt collection industry, leading to the global adoption of a new group policy on same, aimed to protect client’s best interests.
Currency exposure is especially pertinent in these times of widely fluctuating exchange rates with particular emphasis on Euro/Sterling and Euro/Dollar rates. Irish business interests within the credit and debt collection industry have been professionally represented by AICS at ALL previous GCS worldwide (Lisbon, Portugal 2005, Singapore 2006 and Las Vegas USA 2007) as well as the European regional (Stockholm, Essen, Germany and Tallinn, Estonia) meetings.
