Hill has been in the administrative field as an Executive Assistant and Office Manager for 20 years. She also has 8 years of experience as a Paralegal specializing in Family Law. Being a single parent, she has always put the welfare of her daughter first. When she was told that she needed to make other arrangements for her daughter when she was ill, she decided to start her own business, offering virtual assistance to other companies.
Over the years, Hill has been the backbone of the companies for which she has worked, ensuring that her employer’s business ran smoothly and efficiently. She has worked for companies from as big as a Fortune 500 company to a small law firm.
“It’s tough when you are a single parent and something happens to your child.” says Hill. “You want to provide the best care for your child, while at the same time making sure that your job duties are completed efficiently.
Not all single parents have the luxury of having back-ups for when their child is not allowed to attend school due to illness. In this day and age, there is an abundance of wonderful technology to allow us to work virtually from anywhere.”
Hill decided that she would start her own company to allow her to be available for her daughter, yet still have a career. “For all these years I have taken care of all aspects of running a business for other people, so why not run my own business, doing what I do best?” says Hill.
Hill has hit the ground running and has very aggressive goals for her new company…SOS Virtual Assistance. Hill commented that she wants to make her company the #1 resource for small businesses and entrepreneurs.
SOS Virtual Assistance offers many administrative services for businesses across the United States. She is working on resources for small business owners and will be placing a “Resource” section on her company website.
