African American Author Wins Coveted Online Award

African American author George L. Cook III has won the Maurgerite Press Award for best online/radio talk show host 2006.


(1888PressRelease) February 05, 2007 - George L. Cook III of Hillside NJ the author of 2 books and the owner of the web site Let's Talk Honestly at www.letstalkhonestly.com has been named Marguerite Press Awards 2006 online/radio talk show host of the year for 2006 for his work in helping African American authors.

On his web site Mr. Cook host a weekly talk show where he interviews African American poets and authors about their books. Titled LTH WEEKLY the show started in the summer of 2005 as a cheap alternative for black writers to publicize their works and has been going strong ever since.

Many interviewed on the show have gone on to more main stream interviews based on their appearance on the show and have sold many of their books because of it.

Mr. Cook is currently working on another book and of course doing more interviews for his show LTH WEEKLY which can be listened to at www.letstalkhonestly.com
