May 16, 2009 - Toronto, Canada – GAO Instruments has launched the adjustable digital light attenuator (GAO9A) which is used to attenuate continuous optical signal power and widely used in optical cable construction and maintenance, fiber optic communication, with fiber optic sensors and in CATV networks.
GAO's adjustable digital light attenuator offers a four and a half-digit liquid crystal display (LCD) and an automatic power-off and a low battery indication function. Also, this attenuator can quickly regulate the attenuation with superior linearity, high accuracy, and low insertion loss and the attenuation value can be set in a single step or continuously. Constructed using an advanced cold molding process, this digital light attenuator is durable and suitable for use in harsh environments. .
