At half the cost of typical scanning service companies, ADAPT in partnership with Accurex Measurement of New Jersey, can perform your scanning needs at your location or our Oakland County, Michigan engineering and scanning service facility.
We use the Breuckmann 3D scanner, optoTOP-HE, which is among the most powerful and accurate systems in the world of image-forming 3D metrology. Due to the portability, our ADAPT team can deliver you complete CAD 3/D solid models from your physical parts regardless if you are in the United States or overseas. We also do manufacturing quality and inspection services to insure your parts are being made to meet your specifications.
Customers needing scanning services, vary greatly throughout the world. Some may just be trying to make sure their tools are producing the right parts, while others may have not have CAD 3/D data existing. The stamping industry is one example. Some die details don’t have existing data available, so our team can scan their die detail, make a CAD/CAM model and machine a new die detail in half the time and cost of standard processes. This will become a major advantage for stamping manufacturers implementing this by reducing plant downtime and overall costs.
