December 19, 2007 - Joey Naber, star of Academy Award winning short film, West Bank Story, is set to volunteer on Christmas Eve at the Los Angeles Mission amongst celebrities, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Melissa Gilbert, Bruce Boxleitner, Melissa Joan Hart, to name a few.
Celebrity volunteer Joey Naber shares, “My heart really goes out to people who don’t have life’s necessities. That heartache is always worse around the holidays for me. I am thrilled to have the chance to give back a little- thanks to this great event with the Los Angeles Mission.”
Celebrities, TV and radio personalities and other volunteers will bring Christmas to thousands of homeless men, women and children on Skid Row, Los Angeles on December 24, 2007. Jennifer Love Hewitt, star of the TV show “Ghost Whisperer” and long-time supporter of the Mission will host the event. Santa will be on hand to greet the children and gifts, donated by Los Angeles area businesses and individuals, will be given to children in attendance.
