The new Artist Store at acousticfriends.com enables aspiring, unsigned, independent and established Americana, Bluegrass, Celtic/Irish, Folk and Old Time artists, including Singer-Songwriters and musicians on the fringe of these genres, members and non-members of the site, to post their albums for purchase. T-Shirts, Shubb Capos and Red Bear Flatpicks are also available in the Artist Store.
Additionally, members can now post a combination of five songs or videos to their profile. Potential members can find others of like-minded interests on this niche site, instead of searching through the profile warehouses of other social networks.
acousticfriends.com, first launched in June of 2006, and currently with over 3,100 global members, was developed to provide a social network for acoustic music fans, acoustic musicians and others interested in Americana, Bluegrass, Folk, Irish/Celtic, Old Time Stringband and the music of Singer-Songwriters.
Members of the site, which is free to join, can interact with others of like-minded interests in similar music genres.
