July 01, 2009 - Greenbelt, MD - The Academy of Computer Education ® (also known as ACE) over the years has become the premier IT training organization in the Baltimore and DC Metro area. Opening in Greenbelt, Maryland in 2001, ACE has provided training opportunities and certification examinations for highly-touted companies such as Microsoft and CISCO. ACE hosts courses for Microsoft training, CISCO certification, and even niche classes such as ethical hacking and penetrating.
Over the years, ACE has gained both popularity and recognition. Last year, the EC-Council recognized the Academy of Computer Education ® as a top ten accredited training center – out of about 150 training sites – for Certified Ethical Hacker training. Along with CEH training, ACE provides training for the CHFI and LPT. ACE also offers over 50 courses to individuals and companies looking to gain more technological knowledge, including Cisco’s CCNA and CCNP courses, and Microsoft’s MCITP, MCSA and MCSE. All of these classes, and many others, provide the technological background required by companies for some of their higher-up tech jobs. Certification can also help bring upon a promotion.
All of this success in Greenbelt has led to the opening of a second school in Ashburn, Virginia. The new school will cater to the demand of highly skilled tech workers in Northern Virginia. We believe that this school will be just as successful as the first, and will be vital in the technology market of Northern Virginia. The school is located at 45195 Research Pl, Ashburn, VA 20147. Many government agencies and contractors reside in the area around Ashburn. Arlington and Alexandria host many government contractors, with Arlington alone home to over 600 contractors for the CIA, DoD and more. Areas such as Reston and Dulles will also hopefully be positively affected by the new ACE school.
Why has the Academy of Computer Education ® been so prosperous? Ralph Sita, the School Director has an answer. “We follow one key principal in providing our service and that is to deliver a quality instructor who is more than knowledgeable, communicates well and is well prepared. Many training companies don’t attend to those principals. We do, and that has made our Maryland location a success, we believe the same will happen in Northern Virginia.”
