The event will bring together small businesses for a spin-off of the traditional office party. The festivities, which will run from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., will include dance-worthy music from DJ Epixx. Instead of the typical Christmas music and fruit punch, the hotel is offering premium open bar from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. along with Paella, sushi and other hors d'oeuvres.
The idea for the community office party was conceived when the hotel recognized that many small businesses do not have the budget or employee count to justify the cost of an extravagant holiday party. Local businesses, large and small, are invited to join the hotel to enjoy the economies of scale afforded by bringing multiple companies together. With over 9,000 small businesses in Doral and thousands more in the surrounding areas, there is certainly an audience.
