This event will help to support nine (9) New Orleans colleges and universities:
• Delgado Community College
• Dillard University
• Loyola University
• Louisiana State University
Health Sciences Center – New Orlean
• Our Lady of Holy Cross College
• Southern University of
New \Orleans
• Tulane University
• University of New Orleans
• Xavier University
How many of you attended of one of these schools? How many of you know of someone who attended one of these schools? What would New Orleans be without these schools?
Let’s show our solidarity! We must keep our institutions alive.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
You can help our educational institutions by registering to become a part of this 5K Run/Walk. We are calling for a NATIONAL day of support for Higher Education in New Orleans and you don’t have to be in New Orleans to be a member of the race. Register from your home city, stay in your home city (if you can’t make it to New Orleans), and stand up for Higher Education in New Orleans — from your home city. Registering to become an actual participant or an honorary member will send a national message that we will keep these institutions Alive.
IS REGISTERING FOR THE RACE THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN HELP?
No. You can help by purchasing a t-shirt that shows the world that you have been instrumental in Keeping All The Resources In New Orleans Alive. Your funds will be used to support the colleges and universities in the City of New Orleans. You helped to rebuild New Orleans. You supported many persons who evacuated from New Orleans. You have done much to Keep All The Resources In New Orleans Alive. Your organization has done much to Keep All The Resource In New Orleans Alive. Now, you can wear a shirt that let’s the world know that you are Keeping All The Resources In New Orleans Alive.
