Melindo A. Persi is a graduate of Trenton State College and Rutgers University. Melindo Persi began his career in education as a middle school teacher at Franklin Township in Warren County and soon after took on his first role as superintendent at Washington Township in Mercer County and retired having served as superintendent of three New Jersey Districts.
Melindo Persi has received numerous honors throughout his career including: the 2007 National Distinguished Service Award, the 2010 Distinguished Educator Award by the New Jersey Council of Education and has been named to Outstanding Young Men in America, Who's Who in N.J. and Who's Who.
