GAO Tek Inc. has launched its high performance UHF Gen 2 passive RFID Bar Code tag (GAO116009), an RFID tag which provides rapid and reliable item identification and tracking capabilities. It is designed for high performance reading of tagged items level’s deep.


(1888PressRelease) April 18, 2009 - Toronto, Canada – The tag, employing passive RFID technology, is an economic alternative to other more expensive active tag solutions. This tag is commonly utilized in retail and supply chains.

GAO 's UHF Gen 2 passive RFID Bar Code tag is compliant with Aln mini-squiggle standard and operates at 902MHz offering a maximum read quantity of 400tags/s. Offset printing and silk screen with logo, numbering, and bar code are available. The polypropylene tag is waterproof and dustproof and is resistant to immersion in salt water, alcohol, oil and 10% HCl. Furthermore, it is vibration resistant and is fine tuned for edge on reading.
