September 19, 2007 - BONITA SPRINGS, Florida – 4What Interactive, a multi-media marketing and communications firm, has launched a re-designed website for Ave Maria University.
As construction is well underway for the first new Catholic University in 50 years, and students are now attending class at the new campus, the University felt it needed a contemporary website to convey what the school offers to prospective students, existing students and alumni.
“We knew we wanted a website that not only stood out from the rest but provided timely accurate information directed at the proper audience,” says Bryan Mehaffey, Ave Maria’s Vice President for Technology and Systems Engineering. “We not only wanted to deliver information but to develop a personal relationship with the viewer. 4What understood this from the beginning and delivered!”
The new website, www.avemaria.edu, features video clips, using 4What’s “green screen technology.” It’s an innovative technique that lets Ave Maria students and faculty speak directly to website visitors, telling them about the university.
“Our green-screen technology was a perfect fit for the Ave Maria University website because it helps the university build that personal relationship with viewers,” says 4What CEO Jim Cossetta. “The new website better reflects the pioneering spirit of the university, its culture and its leadership.”
