April 17, 2009 - Toronto, Canada - GAO RFID Inc. recommends its 433MHz Active RFID Jumbo Tag (GAO127008). This compact-sized tag contains an LED and a buzzer allowing a specific tag flash or beep to conveniently find tagged items or alert tag wearers.
This low-power consuming tag can be easily attached to any merchandise or equipment with a flat surface.
It automatically wakes up on receiving a wake up command from an RFID reader or generator and transmits its ID and other information. A unique application of anti-collision algorithms allows the tag to receive all the tag data even in dense tag transmissions. It transmits and receives data through dual-frequency operation, which allows for fast and reliable communications.
