33rd Annual Pineapple Antique Show & Sale March 17, 18 and 19 in Sarasota, FL

The 2009 Pineapple Antique Show & Sale will celebrate its 33rd year in a NEW LOCATION: Sarasota Municipal Auditorium, located at 801 N. Tamiami Trail. Proceeds from this show will benefit charities in Sarasota and Manatee Counties.


Sarasota-Bradenton, FL (1888PressRelease) December 15, 2008 - SHOW DATES: Tuesday March 17, 2009 (Evening Preview Party & Sale), Wednesday and Thursday, March 18 and 19, 2009—presented by the United Methodist Women of historic First United Methodist Church, Sarasota—Sarasota’s FIRST CHURCH! 40 quality antique dealers are represented at The Pineapple Show, featuring American & English Antiques, Fine Art, Fine Jewelry, China, Collectibles, Crystal, Elegant Glassware, Linens, Porcelain, Pottery, Primitives, Toys and MORE!

The Pineapple Gallery Boutique features antiques, collectibles, artwork, costume jewelry, crafts, and gifts. The Pantry & Market sells fabulous homemade cakes, pies, cookies, fudge, breads, jams and jellies. Our superb Silent Auction and Door Prizes, will offer something new and different each day. Orchids, Ferns and Books will be sold.

Pineapple Show Hours:
Tuesday: March 17th 5:00pm-8:00pm—Ticket price $15—Valid entire show.
Tuesday evening’s Preview Party/Sale will feature entertainment by the JCR Jazz Trio along with appetizers and beverages created by gourmet chefs from the Church.
*(Advance Purchase Tickets are available at $10/person—Valid entire show)
Wednesday: March 18th 10:00am-6:00pm—Ticket price $6 ($5 w/coupon);valid 2 days
Thursday: March 19th 10:00am-5:00pm—Admission same as above
Wednesday and Thursday a buffet luncheon will be available for $8/person (all inclusive). *Advance Sale Tickets ($10/person) are available at: Jack Vinales Antiques, Sarasota; Magnolia Antique Mall. Nearly $300,000 has been donated to Sarasota and Manatee charities since the show’s inception. Proceeds have been donated to organizations such as: All Faiths Food Bank, Caritas, Children First, Child Protection Center (Visions of Hope), Community Mobile Meals (Meals on Wheels), Family Law Connection (formerly Women’s Legal Fund), Family Promise of Sarasota, First Step, Florida Impact, Habitat for Humanity, Interfaith-Interracial Council, Manasota AIDS Foundation, Mothers Helping Mothers, NAMI, Resurrection House, Second Chance—Last Opportunity, and SPARCC.
