July 11, 2008 - Midtown Comics in New York City will host a comic book signing event with acclaimed comic book creator Steve Niles, famous for the comic book series 30 Days of Night. Mr. Niles, on a hot streak, is currently the author of two DC Comics titles, Batman: Gotham After Midnight and Simon Dark. Continuing the Hollywood trend adapting comic books to film, 30 Days of Night was released in movie theaters last year, directed by David Slade, starring Josh Hartnett. 30 Days of Night is now available as a series of graphic novels, which collect all of the comic books.
