In the summer of 2008, 4 Eleven Productions launched a televised and online entertainment magazine concept called 411 the show. Created to capture the essence of what makes Atlanta hot, the first show premiered with great success in Atlanta on September 20th, 2008 on Comcast 150 and www.411theshow.com. Providing a hip, unique way of finding out what is going on in the ATL, ten (10) episodes were shot and over 100 segments aired. Topics ranged from TV Premieres (Dreamland), celebrity interviews (Russell Simmons), Special Events (Essence Womens Conference), and DJ, club and restaurant reviews for some of the hottest spots in the ATL.
Executive Producer and visionary of 411 the show, Nic Nice, leant his skills as a Co-Host, as well as assisted in video production, camera work, and editing during those formative episodes. He quickly realized the need for a bigger staff so he secured an office with an editing suite along with Administrative support, a Sales team, Production crew and hosts.
Two great additions this season include a new in-studio set and the signing on of resident turntablist, DJ Shaolin. Brandi Cohen returns this season as co-host and was very excited when talking about the new digs.
The three evening Extravaganza is just a sneak peek of the excitement being generated by 411 the show. Upcoming segments include the Atlanta Sports Awards, Artist Spotlight featuring Winton Marsalis, St8 Ballin with Hines Ward, and much, much more. With a stellar line-up, a solid staff in place, and the continued support from the community, 411 the show is destined for a successful 2nd season.
