Jamaal Al-Din, a native of Grand Rapids, Michigan (home of the great Floyd Mayweather, Jr.), played high school basketball in Mountain Home, Idaho for Coach Ed Palubinskas. Palubinskas is an Olympic Basketball record setter and alumni of BYU-Idaho (formerly Ricks College) and LSU. He is also credited with tutoring the NBA's Shaquille O'Neal and WNBA's Lisa Leslie.
