It comes in three trims, 328, 335 and a new trim –the 335d. These models are presented in coupe, sedan, wagon and retractable hardtop convertible body types.
The 2009 BMW 3 Series has an inline six-cylinder engine that gives an output of 230-hp at a low torque of 200 lb ft. One of these trims, the 328, has a twin-turbo gasoline engine, while the 335 comes with a twin-turbo diesel engine which makes use of AdBlue urea injection. Capable of reaching 60 mph in six seconds, this trim is 50-state emissions compliant.
The 2009 BMW 3 Series is given a new trim for this year –the 335d. This comes with a 3.0-liter, 265 horsepower diesel engine that has torque of 425 lb ft.
Given the same engine as the 335, the 2009 BMW X5 comes in an SUV version as well, the X5xDrive 35d.
The 2009 BMW X6 Series belongs to the Sports Activity Vehicle genre. This four-door model comes in two trims. The X6 xDrive35i has a 3.0-liter, inline6 twin turbo engine that has an output of 300 horsepower; the X6 xDrive50i is given a 4.4-liter, V8 engine that can dispense 400 horsepower.
