The 2008 Toyota Highlander is a crossover sports utility vehicles (SUV). Re-engineered for 2008, the Highlander is larger than its forerunner and holds more strength. It is powered by a standard 3.5-liter V6 engine generating 270 horsepower. Available in base, Sport and Limited trim levels the Front-wheel-drive models get 18/24 mpg City/Highway while the two Hybrid models i.e. Base and Limited, with an All-wheel drive, gives a fuel economy of 17/23 mpg.
