Napa, CA (1888PressRelease)
February 25, 2008 - Brian Pasch, wine writer and critic, has just published his "Top 10 Wines To Buy Now"; a quarterly report on California wines. The top rated wine in his quarterly report is the 2006 Modus Operandi Antithesis which Pasch scored 99/100 points. The near perfect wine was made by Napa Valley winemaker Jason Moore, who is also the owner of Modus Operandi winery.
The 2006 Antithesis is a special blend of red wine that was created by proprietary fermentation process develop by Jason. According to Pasch “Jason is keeping his recipe for success a well kept secret however he was more than willing to share a sample of Antitheses from the barrel. The wine was spectacular and one of the best young red wines I have ever tasted from California.” This is the first time Brian Pasch has rated a wine from Modus Operandi.
During Pasch’s visit to Modus Operandi, he learned that Jason Moore's winery project is an amazing story of a man who pursued his dream to be a winemaker. Jason took a non-traditional approach to his education and training; deciding the hands on approach worked best for his mind.
Jason openly acknowledges to people who have helped him along the way. He understands that the road ahead will be equally as challenging as he grows his new business. Jason is also the Production Manager at Silenus Vintners; a cooperative winemaking and tasting room for a small number of artisan wineries. Here he is able to collaborate with great winemakers and perfect his own winemaking skills.
Brian Pasch strongly recommends wine collectors and wine enthusiasts to get on the Modus Operandi mailing list. Modus Operandi produces as a small amount of wine so buying direct is the most efficient was to find their wines for sale.
