April 08, 2008 - In February 2008, work on our 'Welcome Secure' credit card storage facility was completed. The service offers a secure web-based database for holding guest credit card details.
Credit card acquirers are stepping up the battle against card fraud with the PCI DSS standard (www.pcicomplianceguide.org). Simply put, if you are storing your customers' credit card details, you must prove that they are being held securely. If you cannot, there are heavy prices to pay including large fines and even the unthinkable - having your merchant account removed.
In a recent survey, only 11% of merchants were conforming to the standard has been developed specifically to help you meet the PCI standard.
