'Qualia' Opens to a Full House at Sublime Galleria

  • (1888PressRelease) May 13, 2015 - Bangalore, India - 'Qualia', a group art exhibition featuring 15 established artists and 5 upcoming artists from across the country, premiered at Sublime Galleria, one of South India's leading art galleries on Friday, 8th May 2015. The exhibition opened to a full house of art patrons, art students and many others who came to meet the artists and see the artworks.

    The established artists showcasing their work include A.V. Ilango, Kishore Kumar Sahoo, Nadees Prabou, Shailesh B.O., Audumbar Rudrawar, Deepak Sonar, R.B. Holle, Satish Kale, Ganpat Badke, Ankith Gowda, Asha, Mangala Narayan, Somesh Kolegal, Bhagwan Chavan and Nita Khoday.

    Upcoming artists include final year students from reputed art institute, Chitrakala Parishath - Mishael George, Pooja Acharya, Shanizam, Smita Kaushik and Sneha Jain.

    'Qualia' is often described as the phenomenal properties of experience.

    This exhibit celebrates the numerous hues of summer as experienced and portrayed by the artists. The collection amalgamates the works of the artists while staying true to their distinctly individualistic style, genre and expression. Each of the artists has created their vision of summer colours in their unique language of expression borne out of personal experience and thematic preference. Together they form a transcendental collection of work intended to stimulate the senses and enlighten the mind.
