May 19, 2007 - “I have always felt that knowledge should be free. The difference between the successful and unsuccessful is what you do with it” said Edward Earle, Chief Innovation Officer of My Agency Of Record and The Brand Compass.
On May 14th, the first in a series of interactive, experiential luncheons based on curriculum developed by Mr. Edward Earle was held at the five-star Four Seasons Resort in Las Vegas. The program was facilitated by Jon Fondy, a twenty-five year marketing professional. Mr. Fondy gave an exciting overview of the program and dynamically presented the day’s “learning experience as has never been done, especially in an exquisite setting like Las Vegas,” said John Bernstein of CBS Radio. Bernstein goes on to say that “after 17 years in the radio broadcast business” he had “never seen or heard of techniques and programs that actually give the small- to mid-sized business an opportunity to level the playing field and compete, toe-to-toe, with Fortune 500 companies, at a cost that is reasonable and results-oriented.”
Ed Garza greeted the guests prior to introducing Mr. Fondy who then opened the meeting. The curriculum was presented over a gourmet luncheon and was attended by 21 small to mid-sized businesses headquartered in Las Vegas.
The five-week program began with Mr. Fondy leading the group in an interactive exercise during which the participants built the first phase of “Credibility,” which as Earle says, is the only true brand. Attendees were asked to fill out a complete business evaluation which will be returned at next Monday’s luncheon and will help set the track for each participant. At the Monday’s luncheon the group will actually write a :60 second radio spot/elevator pitch.
Fondy interacted with the C-Level executives as he laid out the program for the next 4 weeks which will culminate with the final session, an all day event to be held on June14th, 2007 at the Marriott Renaissance Hotel adjacent to the Convention Center. Fondy was excited to announce that the final session will be taught by Mr. Edward Earle himself (see

Jonathan Brooks, led a lively group discussion and asked those in attendance what specific challenges they were experiencing and what they would like to achieve at the sessions. The answers were: real branding, adequate funding to grow, and increased sales. In attendance were groups from Prime Contracting, Mobile Advertising, Liberty Health & Wellness, Cornerstone Mortgage, Mangosteen, Steven Storlazzi Real Estate, Desktop Valet, Time Share Loans, Sundvick Legacy Center, Wall Street Financial Services, American Family Insurance, Del Carpenter Real Estate, Las Vegas Teen Crisis, Alan Goldner Consulting and Elemental Research, among others.
The upcoming series of luncheons include exercises in writing advertising text and creating press releases, and more.
