June 05, 2009 - Through the new service, Citibank customers who are also AIS, dtac and Truemove mobile phone subscribers can simply send a text message to Citibank to inquire about their available credit card balance, total amount due, minimum amount due, and payment due date information of the latest Credit Card statement.

We are giving our customers another accessible channel to receive account information. We understand their needs, many are on the go and travel frequently, and this is another easy way for them to access data.” said Amit Sah, Country Business Manager, Citibank Thailand.
Amit Malhotra, Country Marketing Director, added, “For added convenience, our cardholders do not need to complete forms to enroll for the service. The customers can use this service right away if they are using the mobile phone, which are up-to-date mobile phone data in our records. To update the mobile phone data, just call 1588 our 24-hour CitiPhone.”
It is easy to use. The simple interface is expected to make SMS banking popular among Citibank cardholders.
• To check for Citibank Credit Card available balance, just text ACLthe last 4 digits of your Citibank Credit Card, then send to 4808588.
• To know your total amount due, minimum amount due and payment due date of the latest statement, just text STMthe last 4 digits of your Citibank Credit Card, and send to 4808588.The service fee is 3 Baht/time (7% VAT excluded) for post-paid system, and 3.21 Baht/time (7% VAT included) for pre-paid system
