September 15, 2007 - Chevrolet's premium mid-size sedan the Impala offers a unique blend of comfort, captivating performance and surprising versatility, apart from a choice of four models and three engines to choose from. ‘America’s Sweetheart’ of the 60s, the Chevrolet Impala was a large family sedan with an undeniable regal demeanor; right through to the early 70s. The 2006 model year saw some attractive upgrades with exterior styling, comfortable and roomy interiors and a choice of three new engines in 4 major trims.
This sporty sedan in the mid car segment offers smart design elements. Chevy’s attention to detail is evident in the innovative flip-and-fold back seats and folding rear seatbacks. Several models are available, ranging from the LS, mid-level Impala LT, the LTZ and the SS all of which deliver a captivating performance.
For 2007 the 3.9L V6 comes equipped with Active Fuel Management and advanced Variable Valve Timing (VVT) that helps maximize horsepower and torque outputs. The 3.5 V6 can now run on either gasoline or E85 - a blend of 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline - or a combination of both. Basic warranty is 36 months/36,000 miles.
