April 12, 2007 - Hundreds of millions web searches are done on a daily basis. Most searches are simply a result of a bad first search that results to millions of replies. Tens of thousands of websites simply have the same or similar word or simple sentence that person looks for. Just word, letter or number search in quotation is pure waste of time nowadays.
DomainAle.com Top 10 Search Rank points out this fact excessively. Number “1” gives staggering 8.72 billion search results. Where last months top ten search list had four sites with over six billion results, this time there’s nine. This kind of growing trend points either to the fact that search engines are improving or that the submitted amount of information is exploding in to web users’ face.
Where average top 10 search results grew by 300 million in a month, two top seeks actually came down. “To” and “Com” took a leap out from top ten. “Com” went down by 100 million search results and that certainly gives speculators something to think about what lies ahead.
1. “1”(1) 8.720 (rank/search/position month ago/billion results)

These are Google search results and they seem to differentiate according to which part of the world you are, which Google engine (in global top 100 most popular websites there’s currently 20 Google engines) person uses and finally also the time factor changes outcome.
Making web searches can be a taunting task. Especially if one doesn’t know how to make one. Advanced search is good but quotations are easier and faster to add. Using “quotations” is effective when searcher makes full sentence like "domain name news on video". This is smart in order to get down with the result numbers. It is easier and faster to take a word off the search if the consequences aren’t pleasing.
